See the Situation Clearly
Separate what happened from the story built around it. Clarify the decision, conflict, or performance issue without rushing to defend the current explanation.
Private Executive Coaching for Founders, Executives & Senior Leaders
Through private one-on-one coaching, I help leaders uncover the beliefs, assumptions, and recurring patterns shaping how they see problems, make decisions, and lead. We test those patterns against evidence and turn clearer understanding into different behavior, stronger leadership, and better results.

What I Actually Do
Leaders usually arrive with a problem they can see: a consequential decision, recurring conflict, stalled growth, team misalignment, or a gap between what they value and how they are operating.
We use that real situation to determine what is actually producing it. I help you separate facts from interpretation, uncover the beliefs and assumptions influencing your response, pressure-test them against evidence and opposing perspectives, and define the decisions and behaviors required to produce a different result. Then we execute, evaluate what changed, and reinforce what works.
Separate what happened from the story built around it. Clarify the decision, conflict, or performance issue without rushing to defend the current explanation.
Determine whether the constraint is a belief, assumption, capability gap, incentive, relationship, environmental condition, or combination of factors.
Turn the diagnosis into a specific decision, conversation, behavior, or operating change. Test it in the real environment, learn from the result, and adapt.
Why Problems Repeat
A recurring problem may be driven by beliefs, assumptions, identity, capability gaps, incentives, relationships, or the environment itself. The work is to identify the correct driver—not force every issue into a single explanation. If the underlying system does not change, the same problem usually returns under a different name.
I combine direct questioning, opposing perspectives, behavioral evidence, and real-world experimentation with experience drawn from two decades in Special Operations and Psychological Operations, assessment and selection design, executive strategy, and the disciplined study of belief, decision-making, and human behavior.
The milestones you reach often begin with what you believe is possible for you.
The ADAPT Model
ADAPT is the repeatable cycle we use to understand what is happening, identify what is driving it, challenge what may no longer be accurate, act differently in the real environment, and use the result to create lasting change.
Observe the current pattern without rushing to explain it. Separate facts from interpretation, identify the visible behavior or outcome, and locate the belief, prediction, or assumption carrying the greatest weight.
Define the actual problem beneath the symptom. Clarify what the existing belief predicts, what evidence supports it, where it may no longer match the present environment, and what a more accurate model would need to explain.
Convert the new understanding into deliberate behavior. Choose an action, experiment, conversation, boundary, or decision that tests the revised belief in the real world and generates new evidence.
Examine what happened. Compare the result with the original prediction, account for emotion and context, identify what the experience revealed, and integrate the lesson instead of merely moving past it.
Reinforce the more accurate belief through repetition, accountability, and continued evidence until it begins shaping perception, decisions, and behavior automatically. Transformation then becomes the starting point for the next cycle of assessment.
Assess. Define. Act. Process. Transform.
Who This Work Is For
Executives, founders, business owners, senior leaders, military leaders, and veterans navigating consequential decisions, recurring conflict, organizational growth, leadership transition, team dysfunction, or patterns that have not yielded to surface-level fixes.
This is for people who want direct questions, honest analysis, and practical change—not affirmation, performance theater, or another collection of leadership slogans.
Human Belief Systems establishes the intellectual framework behind this work: an interdisciplinary model of how beliefs are formed, reinforced, challenged, and intentionally changed. It brings behavioral science, neuroscience, clinical practice, systems thinking, mathematics, and artificial intelligence into one coherent architecture.
The framework is being developed by Chris Pollitzer and Leonard Mello with Dr. Kymberly Lasser-Chere and Dr. Dean Alderucci. Together, the team connects practical coaching, clinical depth, responsible technology, and a usable model of change without confusing one discipline for another.
The book establishes the model. The future platform will make it usable at greater depth and scale through AI-assisted pattern recognition and two distinct forms of human expertise. Coaching translates insight into better decisions, behavior, leadership, and performance. Dr. Kymberly Lasser-Chere’s separately delivered clinical work provides the therapeutic depth required for trauma, attachment, nervous-system dysregulation, and deeply embedded patterns that coaching cannot responsibly resolve. Technology supports continuity and pattern recognition; it does not replace either practitioner or blur the boundary between coaching and therapy.

APEX — Built for the Next Level of Executive Performance
APEX is our most selective engagement: a bespoke model combining executive coaching, behavioral analysis, performance strategy, and—where clinically appropriate—separately delivered licensed therapeutic support. You work directly with the people who designed and deliver the program. There is no junior handoff, cohort, or standardized curriculum.
The work follows the actual cadence of a high-performing life: board meetings, transactions, travel, competition, family, conflict, and consequential decisions that do not wait for a weekly worksheet.
Deep, highly personalized work for the CEO, founder, investor, or athlete. The engagement examines decision-making, leadership, performance, identity, relationships, and the recurring patterns beneath them—without separating the executive from the human being carrying the role.
A rigorous examination of how the senior team actually operates: trust, power, conflict, communication, decision rights, incentives, accountability, and the unspoken beliefs shaping behavior under pressure. The objective is not another offsite. It is a more accurate operating system for the team.
APEX is not sold by the hour or by the session. Every engagement is custom scoped according to duration, access, clinical integration, and team complexity. Typical investment begins in the high five figures; executive-team and enterprise engagements may extend into six figures. Annual capacity is intentionally limited.
Contact for fit, availability, and pricing. When therapeutic services are included, they are provided separately through Coastal Waters Healing Center by an appropriately licensed mental-health professional and remain subject to applicable jurisdiction, informed consent, and clinical privacy requirements.
Confidential Consultation
Every engagement begins with a private conversation. Schedule directly, or share a little about yourself, the decision or challenge in front of you, and the kind of support you are considering. Each inquiry is personally reviewed.
Your information is submitted securely to HubSpot and used only to evaluate fit and respond to your request.
